RANGERS TO FIGHT FOR LOAN STAR

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed that the club would do all they can to keep star forward Ryan Kent at the club ahead of next season.  Kent is currently on loan at the Ibrox club from Liverpool with no option to buy in his clause.

The winger has been impressive so during his time at the club providing a useful outlet on the flanks for the attack. It had been suggested by the local media that the skilful winger is on his way to a new club at the end of the season.

It is understood that Liverpool value the player at around €12 million which is a fee beyond the Scottish side financial ability. However,Liverpool legend and head coach Steven Gerrard insists that the club would sit down with Liverpool to discuss the future of the player.

Kent has been linked with a move to some championship clubs with Norwich City. Leeds United and Stoke City reportedly interested in the player.

Kent has been a key feature in the first team this campaign betting six times and providing nine assists as the Gers sit second on the league table behind rivals Celtic. Kent is a player that has the potential to develop into a quality forward. Gerrard has been able to bring out 5he best in the player which has caught the eyes of other English teams.

Gerrard also has close connections with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp it would be no surprise if the club succeeds in loaning the player for an extra season.

However, we expect a transfer battle for his signature in the summer as Liverpool could cash in on the talented winger.  Rangers would have to significantly strengthen their squad in the summer if they are to stop Celtic dominance in the Scottish Premier League.
