Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has disclosed that midfielder Joe Aribo is back to his best following his display in the dominant win over St. Johnstone on Wednesday night. Rangers won 3-0 to maintain their lead over Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings. After the St.

Joe Aribo has had an injury disrupted season till date and Steven Gerrard would be delighted that his midfielder is back to his best after his recent injury woes.

Steven Gerrard and his players have been able to bounce back from the recent Scottish League Cup quarterfinal exit at the hands of St. Mirren with two straight wins in the league. The first of those victories was at the weekend when Rangers beat Motherwell 3-1 at home. The second win was at the home of St. Johnstone earlier this week.Rangers forward KemarRoofe scored the opening goal of the game in the St. Johnstone clash on 21 minutes before JoeAribo provided the assist for Glen Kamara to score the second goal of the gamethirteen minutes later. IanisHagi is the son of Romanian football icon Gheorghe Hagi and he added a third goal for Rangers to wrap up the 3-0 away victory over St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. Joe Aribo also had a hand in the third Rangers goal. Scottish forward Michael O’Halloran was sent off in the closing stages of the game after two yellow cards. The win took Rangers’ victory run to ten games in the league.For Joe Aribo, the Nigerian international has scored four goals and two assists in 12 league outings.
